Technician Amateur Radio License Class Starting March 21, 2013 at 7pm

Haywood County Amateur Radio Club will be offering classes for the Technician Amateur Radio License. Coordination Received!

I have received confirmation that we have been assigned a coordinated frequency for use at Crabtree Bald! There were some accuracy issues with the Notice of Frequency Assignment document, but I will post it when I get the corrected copy.

Solar Panel Update

The solar panels have been unpacked and set up by KW2N for testing. In full sun, they produced 2.8 amps at around 13.5 volts, which should at least run the digipeater, and may have some additional capacity. Field Day Success!

HCARC’s second Field Day outing was an unqualified success! 28 members participated, and we had 40 guests stop by to visit.
